Private lessons

Private music lessons build self esteem and a love for the arts that will grow exponentially.

Creativity and confidence will abound with Ms. Elexa and team as your music teachers.

We provide rewarding experiences for our private music students with workshops, group classes, summer camps and plenty of performance opportunities every month.

Our studio offers private lessons in:

Voice šŸŽ¶

Music Theory and Sight-readingšŸŽ¼

Private lessons start at $160 a month and are taught in 30, 45 or 60 minute weekly sessions in your home or at our studio in downtown Decatur at TreeHouse Kid and Craft.

We recommend young student musicians begin private lessons at the age of three and older.

Private lessons are 30 minutes weekly for our youngest students.

45 minutes lessons weekly are recommended for students 7 and older and for all voice or guitar students.

Families must provide their own instruments but we are happy to help guide a purchase of a new or used instrument.

We always recommend having a keyboard or piano in the household while studying any instrument as it provides strong foundations in music theory study.

Our music lessons are interactive and fun!

We include musical games, composition projects, listening activities and much more. We give a well rounded musical experience for our students and that keeps them always wanting to learn more.

Atlanta Music Education is not a strictly method book teaching studio. We prefer the use of method books for foundation but also use additional worksheets and songs from the radio or movies. We encourage our students to bring in supplemental materials that they are wanting to learn that they found themselves.

Allowing for this modern style of music education has allowed us the honor of teaching our students for over many years and keep them wanting more!

We appreciate our families and work around their busy schedules so they are able to include music in their lives.

We keep up to date with our parents and students through email, texting and facebook everyday.

Our flexible schedules work around the modern busy household.
